Experience: Damien has been working in taxation and accounting since 1995. Initially he completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science at LaTrobe University and moved across to accounting whilst working in a Tax and Superannuation Law Firm. He completed his professional year to become a Chartered Accountant in 1996. He was made director of Butler Pty Ltd in 2000 and has been Managing Director since 2003.
Areas of Expertise: “The key areas of focus for our business incorporate improving business profits and performance, business advisory and strategic planning, business succession planning, business structuring and SMSFs. Having completed a specialist accreditation in SMSFs with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, we see this as an area of growth in the near future.”

Outside Interests: Family time is important to Damien and he is kept busy with his wife Kim and their four children including a daughter who is focussed on developing her ballet skills and three boys who are great fans of mountain biking. A keen cyclist himself, Damien is part of a morning cycling group for fun and fitness and is developing a strong interest in competitive cycling. He loves taking his boys mountain biking for leisure.
